The Hunger Games: Sunrise On The Reaping
Running time: 178 mins
Return to the world of Panem in The Hunger Games: Sunrise on the Reaping ? the gripping new chapter set 24 years before Katniss Everdeen?s story began.
On the morning of the 50th Hunger Games, fear spreads across the districts as the Capitol announces a brutal twist for the Second Quarter Quell: twice as many tributes will be sent into the arena. Among them is a young Haymitch Abernathy ? long before he became the sarcastic mentor fans know from the original saga.
Forced away from his family, the girl he loves, and everything he knows, Haymitch is thrown into one of the deadliest Hunger Games in Panem?s history. As alliances are tested and survival becomes more impossible by the hour, he discovers that winning may come at a devastating cost.
Filled with suspense, heartbreak, political manipulation and shocking twists, Sunrise on the Reaping dives deeper into the dark history of the Games and reveals the traumatic events that shaped one of the franchise?s most iconic characters.
